Currently watching strange new worlds (star trek), lovered the first series and now second is out. first episode was but too "action hero" but second was ok, third ep this week is apparently time travel which can always be a bit hit and miss

That first ep had me worried (WHAT was that fight scene?!) but they really pulled it back with the second imo. I honestly never really thought we'd see a proper good faith attempt to make a Trek series with a more old school approach so I'm willing to forgive the odd niggle because you can tell they really care about trying. Didn't know we were about to do time travel but I'm here for it!
