This could be me missing something, so please correct if this isn't right.

I've tried to comment on a few posts and get an error message that I can't because I don't have an account on that server. AFAIK these are communities that are federated through my home server (lemmy.world). Liftoff should be able to let me comment with my federated user rather than needing a local user.

So whether it's wrong or not could be debated, but this is working as originally intended by the Lemmur devs.

For now use the subscribed view or the "instance" all view to interact with those posts.

The everything feed is off by default in the latest versions and has to be enabled in the settings

I think I've grokked the workflow now (as I haven't been seeing the errors as much)! Thanks :D
