I stumbled upon a movie that looked really good and gave me American Psycho vibes, but then I was never able to find it again and forgot the name. I never ended up watching it so I want to be able to identify it again.

The plot was something like a politician who tries to come into power by killing his opponents. I think it was America-based.

The only other one I can think of is the Columbo TV movie ‘Candidate For Crime’, but I figure that’s not it.

Oh wait. Is it the 2004 Manchurian Candidate remake? That actually has heavy American Psycho vibes.
