I dunno, probably not a good idea to host a race during the day in a desert. Probably don't want the tires melting or something stupid like that, but of course it's stupid euros ruining everything.
During the day wouldnโt be ideal either, but itโs dark at 5pm there. If they wanted it for the lights they could run it in the dark 4-5 hours earlier when the US could watch, but that would then make it an inconvenient time for the european viewers, which have clearly been made the priority
Edit: Also the temperatures arenโt a concern. Itโll be 20C air temp high this week. Thereโs no heat concerns, and anyone whoโs saying there is has no idea what theyโre talking about.
