I've been EDC a CRKT Minimalist Spearpoint, and my trusty Civivi Elementum. The Spearpoint is new to me and I'm really liking it, very sharp out of the box and small enough that it doesn't come across as "threatening".

Not the most exotic, but my trusty S&W SWAT knife was one of my main tools as a field geologist for about 15 years. The blade is dull as hell, I "cut" dirt samples with it, but the serrations can still lacerate my thumb if I'm not careful. Been my trusty letter opener for the past 3 years since I moved to office work.
