I compost all my kitchen scraps and lawn waste. So those scraps go into my compost bin, and when it's full I dump it in a designated space in my yard and cover it with straw until it finishes. When it finishes, I just dig it out and top dress it into my 50 gallon. I do use other organic amendments like kelp and bone meals, but it's predominantly compost. Composting is literally so easy, you can do as little as throwing your scraps directly into your pot even, it's called the "Just Throw It On The Ground" technique.

Here's a basic primer, there's plenty of other information out there: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/composting/basics/ultimate-beginners-guide-composting.htm

And here's a really informative episode of Shaping Fire, where host Shango Los talks about composting with soil scientist Leighton Morrison: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1Rkg-yl-a3I

I've learned a lot about organic weed farming from Shaping Fire and recommend it to every grower I know.
