Yeah, he's a horrible, evil war criminal. Yet, at the same time, his coup succeeding seems the best thing for Ukraine, since he seems to have no desire to continue the war in Ukraine.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. He's previously indicated he wants to escalate the war. Introduce martial law, more waves of conscription, etc. Go full North Korea.

There's a lot of Russians who are critical of the Kremlin, but still pro-war.

If anything they feel the Kremlin is too soft.

The best outcome for Ukraine is probably a costly fight between Wagner and the Russian AF that results in significant forces having to be pulled out of Ukraine to win. Who ultimately wins that fight probably doesn't matter that much
