Free DLC is a thing.

It's not (and never has been) DLC if it's not from the devs, though.

Theres no reason they'd offer this as a free DLC as opposed to just including it in the game as an update though if they didn't want to charge for it

While grammar could encompass spelling, I believe we are just looking at a typo and not a complete breakdown of the English language here.
