@breadsmasher It could be a really helpful thing for the business I'm trying to build, yes 'unnecessary' in most ways but could not only advance my editing due to the speed of the laptop compared to my 10+ year old PC chugging along, as well could bring speed to my edits for other people as if I am away I can't edit and could lose potential clients if I can't access a machine that can edit, as I mentioned in the post my partner want's to do a good amount of going away but I feel I need to continue business at least in the evenings well we are away. My potential job (As I am still setting it up) doesn't have to be done on site or via my home only, I could potentially travel well working as long as theirs an internet connection.
Sure anything on credit at all really isn't a good idea, my phone has been on monthly payments for the past 10+ years and I really don't use that much compared to a computer or the possible laptop in question. If I could outright purchase it now, I would just life hasn't gave me many options when it comes to work or money and I'm trying to explore whatever option even if it seems dumb (As I know it does see, like that, as being stuck in a 2 year contract unless I have enough money to end it early is not a 100% smart move) but really what other option do I have?
Chin up: itll be cool ;)
