I love that the heat pipe is bent and they ripped a cap lid off by the socket, too. It's like they tried to take a photo of an inept worker but they were inept at being inept πŸ˜‚

How else are you supposed to remove the CPU?

Anyway, ineptitude can be shown more subtly with some actual mistakes people make:

  • Bent CPU pins from forceful insertion the wrong way.
  • Ripped wires off a connector by not releasing the lock first.
  • Prying off a fan’s blade rather than unscrewing its frame.
  • HDD open in an obviously unclean environment, scratches on platter.
  • Using an obviously wrong (wood) screw.
  • Connector tabs broken off, cable is now held in with inappropriate amounts of clear tape
  • Prying something that should obviously slide away in another direction, visible PCB bending.
  • Burning a flat plastic cable while attempting to solder it.
  • Using glue instead of solder

That's not a mistake people actually make. I picked some realistic, visible ones.
