I wonder whether we're just being shown the lucky hits, or whether drone pilots have become really good at aiming. Can't imagine it's easy to hit something from that far above. And then there's those videos where they hit running or driving targets...
The operator accounted for both the movement of the target and the fall time. These guys have been doing this every day for nearly two years now.
I would say both. They have a lot of practise by now, but there's no reason to publish every missed drop. And additionally the most impressive hits get more views/shares so their "presence" (of sorts) is amplified by the internet audience.
