To add to this if smoky / peaty is your thing also consider Laphroaig and Highland Park.
I think I have heard of Laphroaig on some youtube review. thanks! 😀
Seconding both of those recommendations and I'd also throw in Jura and Bunnahabhain.
Also, FYI, when it's Scotch you don't spell whisky with an e :-)
Laphroaig is my favorite. Very sophisticated and not super expensive
