Fallout 3 was Bethesda's last good game. Morrowind might be extremely dated, but at least it had character. Oblivion had character, but it marked the start of the over streamlining they wanted to do. Skyrim was so fucking bland. It was one step forward and six steps back.
I have heard how meh starfield is. I played the intro and it just shit out a bunch of generic sounding sci-fi buzz word soup. Meh
I loved Morrowind so much at the time. Really sad to think back on it and what could have been if Bethesda had taken the great things about that game forward.
Morrowind was Bethesdas peak gaming moment.
