The other day I posted some goblins I made and painted, this weekend I painted the guards that I made for my upcoming campaign. The painting is getting a lot better and I am very proud of these ones.

I know it doesn’t always work out with 3D printed stuff, but normally tracing some black wash along the creases on metal gives to depth.

Assuming your prints don’t have issues with wash running into the print lines, I’d suggest thinking about it.

If they are defined enough, yes. Every model is a little different. But for example the big center piece on the helmets looks like a good candidate to line in some black.

Some people may suggest putting wash all over the mini, and then going back with original colors to touch it up. That is certainly another method, but I don’t often do that for 28mm figures.
