One of the many reasons I don't pay for BBC anymore
This guy here doesn't pay his taxes
It's not a tax, it's an optional fee for people who want to watch broadcast television. Which in 2023 is basically just people over 40
LOL, you kids. I'm 52 (American). A television is a device for displaying, infrequently, pirated content. Also, my main monitor because I'm old and blind.
