i think the whole tyre discussion is outdated anyway.
at some point they will realize that all that microplastic is bad for the environment and they will ban tyres that practically destroy themselves.
i have been saying already they should switch to a different limiting factor than tyres. Maybe force them to use much bigger batteries that are plug and play. and give them options of different power/weight/amount or something like that.
Bring back refueling?
Because they banned it on safety grounds (instead of โRenault 100% used this to cheatโ grounds), they boxed themselves into a corner on ever bringing it back โ thereโs still the risk of occasional fire from a few drops of leaked fuel, even with todayโs improved fueling apparatus.
I don't know, I'm sure they'd find a way around it if they really wanted to bring refueling back. Honestly, I'd be in favor.
