An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Andrew Huberman - Good content, backs up the topic with helpful studies mostly on things neuroscience (dopamine, etc.)

Soft White Underbelly Interviews with people from underprivileged/criminal/unsavory backgrounds (i.e. Addicts, Pimps, Homeless people, etc.) Great watch to see perspectives of people in situations we often view as negative. There's a mix of some good people in there as well who were just part of a nasty system.

TABI-IE - Vlog of a Japanese person who lives (comfortably) in a camper van of some sort. Nice views, and some of the gear he used are actually (to me) a viable option for when maabutan ako ng traffic lmao. Sort of a slice of life, and issues you run into with this kind of housing setup.

Bryan Johnson - Tech Billionaire who spends millions on fighting against father time (aka aging). He records every method, every diet, and every procedure as meticulously as he can on his channel and his website. He sorta comes off as vain, but just focus on the info you learn from the videos.

SCP Explained - Story & Animation - Animation and storytelling is a hit and miss for some, but if you want a sort of entertaining audiobook white noise on SCPs, this is a good channel to listen in to. They have a mix of short and long stories, as well as collaboration content, if that's the right word (i.e. SCP meets the Backrooms, etc.)

Enjoy.

When I was a young boy, ~~my father took me into the city, to see a marching band~~ I've had several times na wala akong homework, kaya bumabawi ako now. Hope you enjoy the recos. I also love recommendation threads like this, as I take a look at all the other channel recommendations, so thank you too!

Lions and Legions uses TV characters from The Wire, Sopranos, and others, to make his workplace analysis. Spoiler alert in spades, but if you won't be watching those shows, it's all good.
