I'm two weeks sober again after doing medical detox. The insomnia is fucking killing me. The urge to drink myself to sleep is real lately. But I'm still in the mindset of staying sober for now at least.

Congratulations, everyday that passes without drinking will bring the urge down. The beginning is hard but it gets better with time. Try to keep yourself busy, that also helps. Good luck in your journey.
