The incident turned out to be a tragedy as confirmed by the US coast guard.

Any life is precious - this accident and others that being overshadowed by it.

To continue the tradition of r/dankmemes, it is the right thing to show same respect and refrain from making fun of the deceased.

Kind refrain from make memes on this topic for the next 2 weeks. May the victims of the indecent find peace.

Dude was 19 and only went because he wanted to be with his dad on Father's Day. If nothing else sympathy for yet another kid gone too young.
