Even though right-wing politicians decry immigration (because it's a populist viewpoint), they secretly or openly want more. Countries without low immigration will lag economically compared to countries with high immigration such as the US.

Germanys immigration has exceeded 1 mn yearly since 2013. https://www.statista.com/statistics/894223/immigrant-numbers-germany/

It is also about a quarter to fifth of the US' size.

Also, that forecast is contradicted by the actual population numbers since: https://www.statista.com/statistics/672608/development-population-numbers-germany/
