And honestly, how many governments have supported an extremist group to destabilize an enemy only to have that group attack them in the coming decades? We're forced to watch the same patterns play out like the countless civilian deaths are unavoidable. Yet, people can't be objective about this. Apparently systematic oppression of social out-groups is too hard to not do. This is the result, always.
