A little more ominous than my happy island diorama, but I like variety. With dioramas with people in them I try to capture the snapshot of a story.

The insurgent took a lot of cutting and sculpting to mix together different kit parts. I really wanted in the diorama to focus on the ground. It might sound strange, but I notice the ground tends to be pristine in dioramas, so I took care to add various pieces of trash to make it more lived in, as well as making the pathway's dirt texture noticably different than the surroundings.
