That is a lot of blue. What do you use it for at a hospital?
It reduces the time needed for wounds to heal. We combine the blue light from the LEDs with a chromophore gel that creates specific wavelengths of light. Those wavelengths stimulate and deliver energy to exposed skin which results in increased cellular metabolism. It's similar to cold laser therapy but lower overall energy so it doesn't penetrate as far into the body.
That is mind blowing.
My wife was talking about her office using lasers to reduce chronic pain and I was trying to figure out if it was quackery or not.
It's true! With lasers you can adjust the wavelength/Joules to target different tissues. With fluorescent light you don't have to worry about that.
