PSA: Sort by New in smaller communities to avoid only seeing the same old posts. (self.lemmyworld)

I've noticed that most communities mainly show day-old posts with default sorting. Sorting by New or Hot helps with seeing newer posts. Kinda obvious, but I sure didn't realize until trying it out 😅

i'm having a very hard time using lemmy with this show-stopping bug and can't figure out how everyone else isn't just as frustrated as me or why no one seems to be doing anything about it. none of the filter options actually work with ALL and that's all i really use. i just want to ditch reddit ffs.

Set the page in the URL to Page 0. The bug only happens on page "1" and page 0 is just page 1. You can just refresh the page after that to see new stuff.

It should be fixed soon, their is a release candidate where I believed it was fixed.
