I remember when the Minecraft wiki was on gamepedia. It didn’t shift around as it loaded, and wasn’t bloated with ads that autoplay and block most of the article. It started doing that when gamepedia got bought out by fandom.com. Glad to see the wiki getting off that site and returning to its bloat-free state. Unfortunately, searching for “minecraft wiki” still puts the fandom.com link at the top of the search results, so I thought it might be helpful to spread the news that the wiki has moved!

I kinda like that it's maintained and hosted by the community. Feels very much in the spirit of MC (maybe the Minecraft of 10 years ago more). Minecraft is a game that evolved through it's community sharing things/features/data/bugs so it kinda fits. That's how most people learned to play, but honestly, Mojang should be covering all bills for it even if it's a community run wiki.
