The issue is, I know, at some point, I need to step in and be the counter balance to her energy. If only for the sake of the sanity of those around us. Unfortunately, my default mindset is to join in and amplify. This is great, to a point. I just don't seem to get where that point is. 🤷‍♂️

Don't worry though. I'm definitely erring towards being too friendly and energetic. It took a lot of training to get her that outgoing.
