A lot of people seem to feel that TotK is so much better than BotW, in so many ways, that playing BotW any more would feel almost pointless.

While I can understand that, TotK is truly amazing in almost every way, I find myself missing BotW.

I miss that desolate feeling, the Guardian induced anxiety, and the difficulty of a lot of BotW that I feel is missing from TotK.

BotW and TotK are the 2 sides of a single coin, neither complete without the other.

I'm already looking forward to another playthrough of both games! (only 68% so far on TotK still!)

I also feel like TotK is easier than BotW, only in the early game was I cautious of some enemies; in BotW I was almost always wary of facing guardians. But I also enjoy that the map doesn't feel as "empty" in TotK and I can just explore more relaxed.

There are some QoL improvements in TotK that I think I would struggle not having if I went back to BotW, like being able yo use the Purah Pad while gliding.

I did enjoy the story telling of BotW more, it felt more emotional to me.

Agreed! Almost no early game caution in TotK. Except the hands, lol.

Will also miss the pad while gliding, amongst other things, like I still miss the guardians even after 300 hours of TotK ;)
