[Bug] App crashes when I try to load more comments (lemmy.ca)

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but whenever I'm reading a longer comment thread and I click "1 more reply" (or "N more replies"), the app crashes.

It happens in jerboa as well, so likely not an app specific issue.

While it may be caused by the same thing, an app should never be crashing. It's a bug in both.
