I was hoping White Chain wouldn't go down a pride arc, I kinda wanted her to be in a self-actualized happy place for once. But I suppose it's in contrast to Maya over there humbly cooking lunches. And perhaps the point is that the demiurge keys are inferior as they lock a person too much into an extreme instead of letting them take part in the balanced whole.

D' you think White Chain asked Meti to train her at some point, and was turned down, and that's why she's making assumptions of Maya? Obviously she doesn't know that Allison already told Maya that swords suck.

Unrelated to that, but expanding on my previous thoughts on costume color, Maya is wearing both black and white--like Allison, come to think of it.
