In that case the question should be about Louisianna or Mississippi. Alabama is a beautiful state. It's a stark contrast driving the back country highways from one to the other.

Hate to burst your bubbles, but Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana are all deep south states and all score the lowest in the nation in terms of standard of living and education.
