I hope it's ok to ask questions here...

So, here's a thread: https://kbin.social/m/[email protected]/t/48054/Skeptic-A-community-for-critical-takes-on-pseudoscience-quackery-and

In that thread, there's a link to a lemmy community ([email protected]) if I click that link, it takes me to the lemmy.world website.

How can I find and subscribe to that community from within kbin?

I tried going to kbin.social/m/[email protected] but that doesn't work. Searching for skeptic results in a bunch of posts and comments.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: I just figured it out. The correct formatting is
kbin.social/m/[email protected]

Still, is there a way to filter search results to only show communities?

What is happening!? Both of your last links work ONLY IF I open them in a new tab (middle click). If I click on them directly they do not work and go to (https://kbin.social/u/)

Testing: @skeptic

This is so weird.

Simply typing "(at)skeptic(at)lemmy.world" turns it into a link that seems to be correct, pointing to (https://kbin.social/m/[email protected]) - see above

HOWEVER, if I click directly on the link, for some reason it takes me to a user profile that doesn't exist (https://kbin.social/u/@[email protected])

BUT if I middle click the link to open in a new tab, it correctly goes to (https://kbin.social/m/[email protected])

I have no idea what is happening or where to report this behaviour.
