I haven't tried the Coconut yet. Might have to pick that up this weekend.
I don't trust any of the writers of the newer Family Guy / American Dad episodes... too many youngin's with their opinions projecting into the script and not as much clever wit. They are probably writing those jokes while drinking La Croix anyway.
Hah, they're still pretty great background noise. The jokes are densely packed enoughh, you're bound to pick one up every so often that'll make you chuckle... zone out on whatever you're doing in between.
Oh definitely, I still love watching it, especially American Dad. But you can also tell when the jokes are glaringly not the original writers / Seth MacFarlane style. Great background show right next to Futurama.
