I disagree. I think they give both a somewhat equal number of races and then see who finished better.
We did see his real performance in Hungary and Belgium. He is a lot closer to tsunoda than de Vries was but still a little behind what tsunoda has been producing all year
Counterpoint: Yuki's probably off the grid next year no matter what.
Why would he be?
AT are almost certainly not keeping him, and who's going to sign him?
Why would Alpha Tauri not keep Tsunoda?
Liam Lawson exists.
There are two AT seats. So why fire their lead driver? You make no sense at all.
I'm saying I think it'll be Danny Ric and Lawson in the seats. The comments with respect to Honda being the primary reason Tsunoda sticks around makes me believe he won't be on the grid in 2024. That said, I hope I'm wrong.
And why would they definitively put Daniel, a driver with zero points and injured from a self-inflicted accident (bc. he ignored yellow flags), in one of the seats? That makes no sense at all. For that to happen, both Daniel and Liam need to drive half of the rest of the season and in these few races totally demolish Yuki.
You are aware that Honda is still supplying the engines in 2024 and 2025, right?
I...was not aware of the latter, so that's my mistake.
