Good looking knife. How do you like it? Haven't had a Benchmade before, always had Kershaw and Spyderxo for some reason
I like it a lot. It's a great small size that you can even carry in your 5th pocket in jeans if you want. Very light weight, of course, as that's what the Bugout series is known for. I have never purchased a Benchmade at retail price and prefer to wait for good deals or something used. But for what it is and for what I paid, it's fantastic. Perfect knife for athletic shorts in the summer too.
I carried a benchmade for a little while, and was never really impressed with it. It's fine, it's nothing great. I don't see anything about it to justify the exorbitant price. I'm sure the lifetime sharpening real is nice but honestly I never used it.
I carry a cheap Gerber folding box cutter now, when the blade gets dull I just toss it and put a new one in. And it works well for 99% of the things I carried a knife for.
The price has always kept me from buying one. I don't ten to lose my knives, but if I do I don't want to be too upset about it.
