Lol I'm pro firearm and self defense, but this is cringe AF. The same type of cringe as the far right gravy seals or meal team 6.
What exactly is cringe about it? They're posing? They have rifles? So what? We need the armed left to be more visible, and this hardly seems like the worst way to go about it.
I am glad the left is coming around on the gun thing at least a little bit. I find the whole posing militia thing cringe. If you are gonna do an armed group keep quiet about it, don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself. I'm Canadian, I'm assuming this is the USA, the ATF are dicks.
Ah, I wasn't thinking "militia", but fair point. While government repression is something we do have to account for, overall I think it's important that the right sees that we're armed, for deterrence purposes, and that the rest of the left and liberals see that we're armed, for normalization purposes.
We're not a militia but I can see where you're coming from on this.

I am sorry to say that the right will meme this hard. Especially since it looks kinda hypocritical since the left generally lambasts the far right's militias.
Hey, at least everyone in this picture is practicing good trigger dicipline. It's hard to find any pic of the gravy seals where some chuckle fuck doesn't have their booger backhoe on the bang switch.
