I am glad the left is coming around on the gun thing at least a little bit. I find the whole posing militia thing cringe. If you are gonna do an armed group keep quiet about it, don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself. I'm Canadian, I'm assuming this is the USA, the ATF are dicks.
Ah, I wasn't thinking "militia", but fair point. While government repression is something we do have to account for, overall I think it's important that the right sees that we're armed, for deterrence purposes, and that the rest of the left and liberals see that we're armed, for normalization purposes.
We're not a militia but I can see where you're coming from on this.
It looks like it though, I don't wanna hate on anyone. It's cool you guys are into firearms and presumably self defense.
Thanks. Well, I'll let the social media team know your feedback. When we took the picture we were just having fun and thought "it would be funny to pose like chuds" but yeah I can see how it could be seen negatively.
I am sorry to say that the right will meme this hard. Especially since it looks kinda hypocritical since the left generally lambasts the far right's militias.
