♦ Rules ♦
1. Stay Civil
This is a place for friendly discussion, memes, guides, art, gameplay questions, screenshots and the like. Discrimination and harrassment won't be tolerated.
2. Mark Spoilers
It is okay to post about "related games" (such as Age of Calamity and Breath of the Wild) but please use the spoiler "censor" and do not put spoilers directly into the title, as the censor doesn't work this way. Posts about other Zelda games might be suited better in general Zelda communities, like the ones listed at the bottom of the sidebar.
3. Offtopic Posts
Anything not related to BotW, like politics, religion, non-Zelda games etc. is better suited elsewhere and will be removed. The same goes for NSFW material.
4. No Advertisements
It is okay to post about merchandise, but links to those "design your own merch" sites will be removed, as those are almost always scams featuring stolen art. Affliate links will be removed as well. This isn't Etsy.
5. Provide Sources
If you're going to post art, comics, guides, screenshots etc. that are not your own OC, please mention the name of the original creator and ideally also a link to their portfolio/website. (Pinterest is almost never the original source)
6. Suggestions are Welcome!
Feedback, requests for improvements and constructive criticism are always appreciated ;)

This isn’t specifically helpful for you but: I duped them whenever I needed them, and then one day realized that I was already a bit of a mini-god and didn’t need every armor set to be 4⭐️ and stopped caring.
Barbarian set, 100%. It's good to have each elemental set (eg lightning, ice, fire) 4* for protection against a particular tough elemental foe, but imo the barbarian set at 4* is pure insanity in terms of damage.
Though I guess, that was the beauty of the game as I saw it, if you wanted to be a barbarian tank you could do that and use the right foods to protect you as and when... or you could get that damage boost from food and use different gear.
Do you mean to say, that food bonuses do not stack with equipment after you max out a bonus on one side?
Sorry but I don't know the answer to this. My assumption was that you've got 4 stars for damage, and you can get there with food or armour bonuses; with that multiplying the value of whatever weapon is being used. Not sure whether that's right or not.
They don't stack from what I heard from someone else. I'm not testing myself, so I might be wrong.
Food attack up buffs stack up to the 3 attack up buff with armor. You can kinda see it if you have 1 piece of armor and the eat 1 attack up food. After 3 stacks it's wasted though. I normally eat defense up, but other attack up armor like elemental or bone proficiency stack as well.
