Absolutely. Cons wont win on their own merits, but they can certainly play into Trudeau fatigue and insecurities around the economy to get in, and then proceed to do absolutelty nothing about it.

But what a lot of people don't seem to grasp is that A) Trudeau (or any politician) does not have a giant lever that they can flip to make the economy "good" or "bed", and B) the ENTIRE globe is suffering from the after effects of the Covid pandemic, as well as late stage capitalism and the continued concentration of wealth.

Unfortunately, it doesnt seem like any party will properly address the latter, but history has shown that the Torys are adept at gutting social programs to "balance the budget", when these are the times where we need more social aid, not less.

I also fear for our healthcare system, as they continue to deteriorate and be underfunded in Conservative led provinces in an attempt to starve the beast and justify the privitization of our healthcare.

If only there was a party that pledged & would benefit from electoral reform to get us out of the same Liberal-Conservative cycle.
