From what I understand, that's how they work, explode a flak shell near the craft.

Interesting, so you are saying the shell did exactly what it was supposed to?

I can see how that could be way more harmful for a craft at higher speed, and with engines where shrapnel would easily destroy them.

Kind of dunny how these cheap drones are much less sensitive to that kind of air air defense.
