i liked the concept but the second half just devolved into a cheap, awful tone. it felt like a shitty marvel movie with the lady suddenly doing epic bants with salma hayek, rather than the gritty grounded tone like black mirror of old

The first couple seconds of the episode I was thinking that Billie Eilish was acting.
My partner and I did too!
Idk explosively shitting in a church seems like something Billie Eilish would do lol.
That's the point of Black Mirror though. It's like a looking-glass into a fucked up dystopia where things like that happen. On the surface its obviously funny but then the more you think about it the more of the real elements seep through. All of this is wrapped up in a goofy story line for the broader audience.
My wife has had her hair like that for about 2 years now and was so proud of herself lol. She thinks she's ahead of the curve... I'm like, you're actually a deep fake existing in a quantum simulation so...
