Saw a 9 dollar cauliflower the other day.
How the f are people surviving?
I've been going to a weekend market. This weekend caulis were about $5, and were decent sized. We don't struggle, but I have been making a point of going every weekend and getting as little from the supermarkets as possible as a bit of a protest at how much they are charging.
I usually go Avondale markete.. so I think it's more the shock of all of a sudden seeing the price most people pay.
I won't be able to go there for a while so just subbed to something called wonky box and it seems promising.
