What a disingenuous subject title period TikTok is spending 1.3 billion to get European data centers to comply with the law. That's not a Dodge
If you take China's word that the offices in China won't be able to access the Euro servers...

Agreed. They will absolutely do that. But if the politicians are unhappy about that, they should change the wording of the law. Companies complying with the law as written is legal and not a dodge. So I think the article title is still sensationalist
also, it's either that or fold. why would a company, in a capitalist economy, decide to fold? obviously they're going to make the effort to comply to remain in business.
