I'm not sure if there's a better umbrella term for this US run ... and didn't bother looking it up. "The Good US Godzilla Films?"
Good is a relative term. But the US ones aren't even fun let alone "good"

Hey I liked that one when I saw it when I was like 13 years old!
So did I. Loved the movie as a kid. I haven't actually had the nerve to revisit it because I have no idea what I'll think of it going back to it today.
