Maybe. The article didn’t make that connection, but it might be important to know: which are the sources of micro plastics that most affect us? I was surprised the article actually proposed solutions and measured their effectiveness., where I assumed we were stuck with it as long as we use cars
One of the biggest sources of micro plastics right where people are highly concentrated, seems very likely to me.
But yeah it would be nice to have a better understanding of how they get into our bodies.
