I am in the UK, I have owned this car almost 20 years now. It's been completely reliable I am just fixing old age items and corrosion.
i didn't know there were skylines in the UK. amazing
They are quite popular here and have been for years, Driving on the left makes us more readily buy up JDM stuff. You don't see them often on the roads but there are still plenty of club meets etc.
Do you have to wait a certain number of years before importing?
Not as far as I know, This car came over at about 5 years old in about 1999 or 2000, Somebody else owned it for a bit then I bought it in about 2004 IIRC. I don't think there are any such restrictions here in the UK. Hence the JDM scene we have, But I would have to check to be certain.
Jealous!
all the writing on the labels is in japanese though innit? no problems with that?
No problem, People have translated them all, I even have the Nissan workshop manual in English.
