This meme was more a commentary on the overall job market conditions declining rather than reflective of my current situation.

I.e. real wages are declining.

The meme doesn't discuss real wages.

As far as "good paying" jobs go, going to university is statistically aligned with getting a better compensation trajectory vs not going.

Among those who go, getting a useful degree aligns strongly with good employment.

Outside of the meme, yes, wages are pretty rough, and the market is very volatile right now, but you're best suited entering that market with a degree or trade certification of similar notoriety, than not
