Wouldn't that just be because most of the garages are based in middle England, and middle England is majority white? Obviously this has nothing to do with whatever the fuck is going through Marko's head, and doesn't address the problem of white kids in Britain generally coming from wealthier backgrounds and being more likely to succeed in techy careers, but this sounds like a very Americanised view of things.

Is F1 not able to attract global talent? Because there are plenty of schools around the globe that produce engineers who should be competitive with those from central England. If F1 can attract global talent but still only employs mostly white dudes from Milton-Keynes, that's an issue.

If F1 is not able to attract global talent, you have to ask why. You'd also have to wonder how much better the cars could be if they could.

Is is so bad that an excellent engineer and F1 fan would turn down an opportunity to work in F1 because they have to live there, or is it possible that F1 hiring is at best geographically biased?
