These are used for joining together pieces of wood, usually for furniture. Don’t eat ‘em.

Then why are they called biscuits??
Because they look like biscuits. The tool you use to cut in the holes you use to put them in is literally called a biscuit joiner.
Also they’re delicious. But don’t fuckin’ eat em.
Oh. Well, at least they won't crumble in my coffee.
