US heavy-duty trucks: 417 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO₂e) in 2021
Global shipiping (of which about 40% is shipping fossil fuels around, and most of which doesn't go to or from the US): ~700 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (MtCO₂e) in 2021
So yeah, this is just a bunch of whataboutism and not a meaningful critique.

What are you talking about? Cargo ships, despite being significant poluters, are far more efficient than trucks.
It's necessary to address both sources of pollution, but this is still a big step in the right direction.
