There's a reason we also have /r/No_Mans_Sky on Reddit. We created a separate sub that WOULDN'T be controlled by Hello World mods and I think it got away from that line of thought so I'm here to recreate that option.
Wait, so NoMansSkyTheGame is controlled by HG mods?
The whole reason another sub was created was due to questionable content management from the top down and even on the new sub I have seen a LOT of factions try and throw their influence around in a way that is far far too territorial. If its gets like that again you'll know where to find refuge ;-)
I mean its modded by someone named @NMSGalacticHub for Atlas' sake! We'll see how it goes though.
Could be wrong, but I don't think the Galactic Hub people are in any way affiliated with HG. As I understood it, the sub with 'the game' appendix is the unofficial one.
Tbh I almost exclusively found that community to be friendly and welcoming. Once I got griefed and lost my 350+ hr permadeath save, I made a post to warn others (they were joining nexus missions, then exploiting a bug to destroy unwitting players). The psycho replied with a picture of my death and gloating about how they had x amount of victims. Proper fed the troll unfortunately, but the response from other users to him / me was partly why I continued playing
Look, I don't know for certain, but they're clearly a faction and I have seen a lot of interfaction drama. I'm just saying if it happens, there's this other one over here. I'm not letting anyone else mod it to keep things fair and balanced.
